Beautiful roses using CTMH's exclusive Art Philosophy cartridge

If you haven't gotten our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge yet, boy are you missing out! There are over 700 images on this cartridge and over 10,000 cutting options. This is THE only cartridge you will need. Plus, our My Acrylix stamp sets coordinate with the cartridge, making your layouts and cards even more beautiful.

To go on my November card box project, I cut these roses at 2", 3" and 4" increments and spiral rolled them. I adhered them using Liquid Glass and put some bling in the center. Love these on this box...

Regionals

Last Thursday, my CTMH buddies and I were in Livonia for a 2-day event. What a great team we have at CTMH. The VPs were easily accessible, and my team was full of talent with Gloria and Leslie being showcased and featured for their digital layouts! Way to go my teammates! Fun times full of projects, business classes and tons of give-aways! Stayed tuned for pics on our projects as well as the silent auction items I bid on and won! Fabulous time....

Ugg technology!

ok, at my last networking meeting, we had a social media guru talk for about 2 hours on the importance of ALL social media sites for not only sales, but INFO! yep, going about this the wrong way...it's supposed to be about info people!! On that note, I have a new Twitter account and have taken some steps to purchase a flip phone so that I can start demonstrating techniques and things via video and YouTube. Wow, this is getting complicated, but he also gave us some tricks on Tweetdeck, which is a great site in which you can not only schedule posts to all of your media sites but also just post one and they will shoot them out to all your sites! Look for more info and content to all my sites coming soon (as soon as I get the hang of all this technology that is!!)

Winnie The Pooh shower gift

Yessss! I finished it tonight. Thank goodness! Getting better at the chirp (Cricut)!

Baby shower layout w/frame

So the grandma-to-be, for whom I did the shower invites, asked me to make something special for her daughter from her father. I guess they had some special bond every night with butterfly kisses. Here's what I put together for them. The frame will be painted Creme' brulee to match, and my gift to her will be the same frame except with the Winnie the Pooh theme. I posted some earlier pics on that as far as the Cricut cartridge I used to create the characters. I will be busy finishing up my gift and then painting both frames for her.

Quartermania auction items

I finally got some time to myself this week and have started my projects. I have 1 1/2 items left to complete and I'm done! just in time for Friday!

Finally, it's Friday! I will be busily putting together more sale items this weekend. I have a 100+ gallon tote full of paper and paper packs to put up for sale! Look for additions to my sale page soon. Until then, happy scrappin!!

Wacky Wednesday

Today is Wednesday, which brings to mind Hump Day or Wacky Wednesday. It was my goal to put up a wacky thought and see what becomes of it as a scrapbooker...but I received word today from a childhood friend, who I don't get to see very often, that her mother passed away yesterday. Margie Fassbender was truly the "coolest" mom ever. She was a bit older than most of our moms, having my friend later in life after she had thought she was done having kids. Whenever I got lucky enough to stay at her house for the night or go there after school, Mrs. Fassbender was the sweetest, most coolest mom ever, letting us giggle til the wee hours of the morning. So with a heavy heart, I am going to change Wacky Wednesday this week to just plain Wednesday. I cannot bring myself to make anything creative right now but will post a layout dedicated to Lynn and her mom sometime this weekend. Happy Scrappin my friends.

Stamp inventory list

So I was going thru my stamp sets to prepare for my annual sale, and boom, guess how many doubles I had?!! Yep, at least 4 or 5 sets that I have bought at least twice. Uh, can we say duh?! Later on that same day I was on CTMHs bulletin boards and craziness...another consultant posted a complete retired and present stamp inventory listing on there! Wow, perfect timing. If I can figure out how to upload the file to the blog, I will. If you cannot find it, please just leave me a message and I will email you a copy!!

Monday Musings

Friends...what does that word mean to you? For me, there are some friends whom I haven't seen since 8th grade and others I see almost every week. And those whom I don't speak to very often except with the help of Facebook, still are cherished friends. One of those long-distance friends, Jackie, who lives in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, and I finally met after years of talking on FB this month at CTMH's convention. What a nice surprise to meet a pal so far away and have a nice chat (although quick) and a hug. So this card is for Jackie, one of my farthest away pals, who couldn't be Closer to My Heart! Whose name popped in your head that you need to reconnect with?! Send them the card below and brighten their day.

Vendor show success!

Just got back from another vendor show in Howell today.  It was cold, rainy and damp, and of course, that led to a poor turnout.  But, in the words of my friend and fellow co-hort in scrappy crime, Holly, "plant the seeds."   Well, I may not have sold any cash and carry or took an order, but I did book a show and booked a meeting to design some baby shower invites!  So, with only about 10 people walking thru, don't think that's too chabby!

Happy Creating!
